The house is surrounded by fields and is only 200m from a private beach where you can use our kayak, swim safely or fish. The popular sandy beaches of Marielyst are just 4 km away.  The island has many tourist attractions, charming villages and miles of coast-line. There are 3 golf courses within 30 km. The island of Falster has a good cycle route and is popular with cyclists in the summer. The attractive harbour town of Nykøbing just 20 km north has many good shopping facilities. From there you can take the motorway to Copenhagen. From Gedser only 4 km south you can take the ferry to Rostok in Germany.
